CryoSlimming uses cold temperatures to reduce inches. It is completely non-invasive and uses science that works with your body's natural systems.

CryoSlimming first heats and then uses cold temperatures to decrease fat, which is flushed out by the lymphatic system over 14 days.

A little more about CryoSlimming

Treatment starts out with the technician warming the treatment area using the warm wand setting. This preps the area by bringing blood to the surface and preparing the fat cells for the drop in temperature. Next, there is an immediate controlled drop in temperature. This gets deep in the hypodermis layer of skin where that stubborn fat lives.

After the cold temperature has worked its magic, it's time to warm the treatment area back up for another couple of minutes. The treatment is followed by a massage to send the broken down fat cells toward the nearest lymph nodes. The lymph nodes are part of the lymphatic system and act as little washing machines to flush out all the toxins and waste out of the body, including those broken-down fat cells.

NOTE:

  • Slimming can be done every 14 days.

A little more about CryoToning

CryoToning targets the dermal layer of the skin, the middle part where all the important cells and proteins live. 80% of the dermis is made up of collagen and elastin fibers. Collagen and elastin act as the 'scaffolding' of the skin, keeping the dermis strong, so that the epidermis (the part of the skin you see) lays flat on top. Unfortunately, as we age, collagen and elastin deplete, causing the dermis to lose its strength and structure. This is why we begin to see fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging of the skin.

CryoToning works by applying the wand to the skin with a cold massage techinique. The technician's hand (which is warm) follows the wand manually massaging the areas, which causes the blood vessels to alternate between constriction and dilation in the dermis. This improves the oxygenated blood flow (microcirculation). The blood vessels are then able to deliver fresh nutritious blood to the other cells in the dermis. This boosts collagen and elastin production and improves the quality of these fibers. This helps build up the skin, making it appear smoother and tighter. CryoToning is a great treatment to reduce cellulite or target areas of loose skin.

NOTE:

  • Toning can be done once per week per body part

Slimming Before & After Care

  • For best results, avoid eating sugar 2 hours before and after a Cryoskin treatment

  • This applies to all kinds of sugars (pasta, rice, bread, cereals...) and simple starches and sugars.

  • The cold weakens and retracts the adipocyte [fat storage cell]. Consuming sugar will return immediate energy to these cells, so the apoptosis [cell death] effect will be less efficient and can even be canceled.

  • The lymphatic system takes 15 days to complete an entire cycle. Results will improve over the 2 weeks following the session. Additional slimming sessions can be completed 2 weeks after treatment.

  • Avoid exercise directly before a session. It will be harder to cool the body down and complete the slimming effectively.

  • For best results, maintain the best possible diet and lifestyle to accompany the treatment (drink plenty of water).
